Bleaching Earth or Fuller’s Earth Quality Control
Our Bleaching Earth (Fuller’s Earth) is manufactured from the best quality, selectively mined and scientifically blended montmorillonite clays, and attapulgite clay under stringent process controls. While making Refoil Earth, special care is taken in maintaining the important properties like absorptive capacity, acid properties, catalytic properties, ion exchange capacity and particle size distribution.
Refoil Earth has found significant application in decolourising by removing color pigments like carotenoids, chlorophyll, pheophytine.
1. Removal of gums (phospholipids), ffa and soap contents and traces of heavy metals in vegetable oils
2. Reducing and controlling different oil parameters like peroxide value, anisidine value, uv-absorption value, ffa contents etc.
3. Purification of aromatic compounds in case of mineral oils & waxes and removal of sulfur, acid – tars, acid – sludge, sulfonic acid etc.
